Chief Minister Yediyurappa visits Uchila Mahalakshmi Temple

Padubidri, Jan 19, 2021:     Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa visited the Shree Mahalakshmi Temple at Uchila on January 19, Tuesday. The Temple is set to see a complete renovation.

 

The government has already  provided Rs 5 crores for the renovation of the shrine. The Temple committee on this occasion placed a request for additional Rs 10 crores for the purpose.

DK District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon, G Shankar, Honorary President of the Temple Renovation Committee, Jaya C Kotian,  President of DK Mogaveera Mahaveera Sangha, Temple Committee President Vasu Salian, Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat,  MP Shobha Karandlaje and others were present.

The Chief Minister was felicitated on the occasion on behalf of the Temple Committee.
