Chennapattana youth drowns in Malpe beach

Malpe, July 15, 2019: A 19 year old youth from Chennapattana of Ramanangara district is feared drowned in the sea at Malpe while making merry. 

The body of the  youth  named Deepak is yet to be traced. He was an ITI student in Bengaluru.

Deepak was part of a group of 13 friends who had come on a trip to Malpe beach on Saturday.

It is learnt the youngsters who were once warned  and sent away by the police had arrived again to play in the waters  about  500 meters away where there were no barricades resulting in the tragedy.
