Chaturmasa Vrita of Lord Veera Venkatesha commences at SVT, Carstreet

Mangaluru, July 11, 2019:  Various religious rituals  were held at Shree Venkataramana Temple at Carstreet on July 11, Thursday in connection with the  commencement of Chaturmasa Vrita of Lord Shree  Veda Vyasa, the presiding deity of the shrine. 

Rituals like  Panchamritabhisheka, Pulakabhisheka, Gangabhisheka, Kanakabhisheka, Shathakalashabhisheka etc were held under the leadership of Pandit Narasimha Acharya right since 6.45 am.   Mahapooja was performed in the afternoon and prasadam distributed to the devotees. Chief priest Harish Bhat, Trustee C L Shenoy and devotees were present.
