Chase your passion in lives, Sonia Shenoy exhorts youngsters at Prerna

Mangaluru, Feb 18, 2017 :  If the general perception is that failure  results in depression and stress, it also provides an opportunity to empathise with others who too have experienced failures, while also motivating one to achieve big, said Sonia Shenoy, Editor and TV anchor of CNBC TV 18.

Speaking after inaugurating Prerna,  a Confluence of ideas and motivation, organised by VKSSF Alumni Association in association with Vishwa Konkani Student Scholarship Fund and World Konkani Centre  at TV Raman Pai Convention hall  on February 18, Saturday, she said that success also tends to develop   a superiority complex in an individual. Calling upon youngsters to take their own decisions while also listening to their parents, she exhorted them to chase their passion in lives.

Sonia also said she derived her inspiration from  Bill Gates, JK Rowling and Michael Jordan.

Brigadier CMF Prabhu, retired officer of  Indian Army called upon the youth to strive to overcome fear by coming out of their comfort zones. As an army man, he said he has seen death from close quarters and added that a man has to forget his comfort and  has to ensure physical fitness if he intends to join the armed forces.
