Channarayapattana road mishap claims lives of 3 of family from Bantwal

Bantwal, Feb 19, 2016 : A tragic road mishap involving an Alto car and a lorry  near Chikkagondanahalli in Channarayapattana of Hassan district has claimed the lives of three members of a family from Kavalakatte in Bantwal on  February 19, Friday.

 

The accident occurred when a lorry collided head on with the car in which the three were travelling. The deceased are Jayakeerthi Indra (50), his wife Vageshwari (48) and their son Prashant (28).

It is learnt, Jayakeerthi was the brother of Kavalakatte Basadi priest Diwaker Indra, while his son Prashanth worked for a firm in Bengaluru.

Channarayapattana police have registered a case.
