Chakravyuh techno-cultural fest - April 11 to 13

Mangaluru, Apr 08, 2015: Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Moodbidri will organise ’Chakravyuh- 2015’, a National-level techno-cultural fest at the institution campus on April 11, 12 and 13th on the theme ’Incredible India’.

MBA Dean Alexander Mathews said the event will have around 200 individual events on 18 stages with 24 categories. The events include ’Nari- Shakti’, a women self-defence workshop, competitions in dance, music, fine arts, management, literary and C-coding for software professionals. Ethical hacker Rizwan Sheik will conduct workshops in ethical hacking. Along with workshops on clay modelling, aero-modelling, a robotic workshop, there will be a short film festival ’Chitrotsav’, laser tag, adventure sports, the infamous humour fest and many other, he said.  Live performances from renowned music bands like ’Masala coffee’, ’Sruti Box’ and ’Indian Ocean’ will be conducted and all shows are free and open to all. There will be food fest offering a range of food from different regions.

Also, there will be an exhibition of rare coins, philately, paintings, pencil sketches, photography, flowers, butterflies, fishes and books. Another expo will showcase carvings and statues of India. Motorig-3 is an exhibition of vintage and latest cars. The electronic expo would show the antique and modern electronic gadgets. A civil exhibition on Mohenjo Daro civilisation will also be organised.
