Chairman and MD of Corporation Bank Receives Prestigious Award

Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, Mr. J. M. Garg, received the Dr. Sir M. Visversvaraya National Parisara Ratna 2009 Award. The Academy of Common Wealth Education and Humanities Studies (ACWEHS) in collaboration with Kuvempu University in Shimoga instituted this award. 

Chairman of Karnataka Planning Commission D. H. Shankarmurthy, and Vice Chancellor of Kuvempu University Prof B. S. Sherigara presented the award during a ceremony held on the occasion of National Environ Fest 2009 organized at Shimoga recently.  

Chairman of ACWEHS, Mr. C. Jagannath, and Central Pollution Control Board Member and Member and Director of National Environment Research Center, Prof Puttaiah, were also present.
