Cellular System to track people during Lakshadeepothsava

Mangaluru, Nov 23, 2016: Reports indicate a new technology called  OCS, Offline Cellular System, it  will be installed at Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala to trace people in case they go missing during the Lakshadeepothsava which will be held from November 24 to 29.

The OCS technology has been designed by students of K K Wagh Computer Science College, Nasik, Maharashtra. A five-member team led by Kaushik Bagh will install the system. He is a member of NASA and is well-known for his IT skills.

The system will have eight electromagnetic computers. It is said that the person could be traced even though the mobile is switched off and the system can work without internet and a mobile signal. The team has successfully installed the system at Kumbha Melas in Nasik and Ujjain.
