Celebrations galore as New Year is welcomed with joy

Mangalore, Jan 1, 2014: Another New Year is here.  The ushering in of New Year 2014 was marked by celebrations galore at various parts of the city.

 

 

 

 

 

A host of New Year Parties were organised in hotels, resorts and other places and people had gathered in large numbers to greet the New Year with joy.

Meanwhile, the Police Department had maintained a strict vigil to avert any untoward incident. The Churches also held evening mass on New Year eve.

There were fireworks at various places at the stroke of midnight  with people welcoming the New Year with great expectations and hopes
