Cattle trafficking; Bajrang Dal activists allegedly assault three persons in Bantwal

Bantwal: July 14, 2015: The Bajrang Dal activists on Tuesday chased a cattle transporting vehicle and allegedly assaulted three persons near Bantwal.

The three persons are Moidu Kunchi (36) Abdul Hameed (28) abd BA Moidu, all from Kasargod.


The trio were transporting the cattle from Anekallu to Kasargod via Bedagudde-Paovali route.


It is said that the driver went in a wrong way, and the Bajrang dal activist who had information about the cattle transportation, chased the vehicle and allegedly assaulted three persons.

The victims were then rushed to the hospital. 


A case has been registered at Vittla police station against three for transporting cattle.
However, a counter case has also been registered against the Bajrang dal activists for the assault.
