Catch a glimpse of eternal beauty of Himalayas at ‘Himathorana’

Mangaluru, Jan 02, 2015:  Art lovers are  thronging the Prasad Art Gallery at Ballalbagh in the city to catch a glimpse of the breathtaking and eternal beauty of the Himalayas captured   by lensman Manjunath Bhat.   His maiden solo photo exhibition ‘Himathorana’ was inaugurated at the Gallery on January 1, Thursday by eminent  photographer Yajna Acharya. The exhibition is open upto January 4.

 

 

 

A social media analyst in Udayavani online division, the photographs of the scenic Himalayan range  as well as the life of the people there were captured during one of his expeditions to the place.

Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of state unit of Kannada Sahitya Parishat presided over the function. Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, DK District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President, K Anand, Associate Vice President of Udayavani, Dinesh Holla, Anu Pavanje, Vasanth Kedige, Ganesh Somayaji and others were present.
