Car mishap at Baikampady : 1 injured; lucky escape for 2

Mangaluru, Jan 03, 2015:  Two persons   escaped the jaws of death by a hair’s breadth while one person sustained critical injuries  in an accident  reported from Baikampady area in the city on January 3, Saturday.

 

The mishap occurred when three persons namely Jamsheer, Ajmer and Shaukat were  on way to  a mosque in Baikampady on account of Eid Milad. It is learnt, the car went out of control of the driver following a tyre blast. The car finally landed abruptly on a nearby railway track. If Shaukath sustained critical injuries, the other two  were lucky enough to survive. The car  was badly mangled in the mishap.

Local people helped in the rescue operations and shifting the injured to the hospital.
