Car crashes against embankment near Netravathi bridge

Mangalore, Aug 8, 2014: The front portion of a car was badly mangled after the vehicle crashed against  the iron railing erected as an embankment at Kallaup near Netravathi Bridge on the National Highway 66 during the wee hours of August 8, Friday.

 

 

 

The Hyundai car was on way to Kasargod from Mangalore when the driver suddenly lost control over the vehicle. The negligence of the car driver is said to be the cause of the mishap. Luckily,  if not for the iron railing, the car would have rolled down into the  river.

There is no further information about the owner of the car. No complaint has also been lodged.
