CanWalk 2024 organised in city on World Cancer Day

Mangaluru, Feb 05, 2024: A walkathon- CanWalk 2024 was organised in the city on February 4, Sunday on the occasion of World  Cancer Day. The event was jointly organised by DK District Administration, District Health and Family welfare Department, Government Wenlock Hospital Palliative Medicine Department and District Tobacco Control Unit.

 

 

The Walkathon was flagged off at the MCC premises at Lalbagh. It passed through  PVS Junction, Navabharath Circle, KS Rao Road, Hampankatta and concluded near the office of the District Health and Family Welfare Department.

District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr H R Timmayya, District Health Education Officer Dr Jyothi and many other medical officers were present.
