Cable operator suffers electric shock during maintenance work

Mangaluru, Feb 22, 2016: A young cable operator who had climbed an electric transformer to  connect cables  near the Tokkottu over bridge near Ullal on February 22, Monday sustained serious injuries when  he was suffered an electric shock.

The injured cable operator Nishanth (29) of Lachhil in Tokkottu has been rushed to a private hospital at Derlakatte.  It has been gathered that  Nishanth fell on to the road and even suffered  serious head injuries.
