During the celebrations, the community offered the first harvest to God because it believes that the harvest is an expression of god’s grace. Accordingly, the faithful brought new corn, sugarcane, tender coconuts, and vegetables to the church and offered it to god. Later, these fruits and vegetables were auctioned off in the premises of the church.

A special prayer service was organized on this occasion. The bishop and priests of CSI performed the rituals.

Various sports and cultural programmes were organized as part of the harvest feast celebrations. Community members of all age groups participated joyously in these festivities.
