CPI leaders stage protest defying curfew; detained

Mangaluru, Dec 21, 2019: CPI leaders who  staged a protest in front of the Mahatma Gandhi Statue opposite the MCC office on December 21, Saturday defying curfew, were detained by the police. They  were protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the police firing on protestors on Thursday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The protestors were seen shouting slogans "Yediyurappa Go Back, Save India, Save Democracy" etc.

Rajya Sabha member Binoy Vishwam,  Janardhan K S, Santosh, Jyothi and others participated in the protest.
