CPI (M) Secretary B. Madhava accused the state government of spoiling the reputation of the state, of misusing power, and of oppressing the people of the state. He said that the government organizes global investors’ meetings and provides land to multi national companies at cheap rates while the poor people of the state are begging for small plots to build houses.

Reacting strongly against the CM’s statement that everybody makes small mistakes, he said that the CM is trying to justify his involvement in large scams by making such statements.

Balakrishna Shetty, Vasu Gatti, U. B. Lokayya, and K. R. Shriyan also participated in the protest.
