He went on to say,  government fulfilled 95 promises out of 165 given in its election manifesto. It has waived Rs 2,448 crore of loan of Ashraya house holders and Rs 1,300 crore of loan taken by development corporations. The government has released Rs 83 crore to pay compensation to arecanut Koleroga victims. The government will supply handbook about its achievement to Congress workers of every district to be distributed to people.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi now is not speaking about ’Acche Din’ of farmers and poor. The Centre says it has given more funds to State, but the Centre has cut more than Rs 10,000 crore from Centrally Sponsored Schemes. The State has actually got Rs 1,987 crore less compared to last year. He promised to lead Congress from the front in next election as well to keep BJP away from power.

CM claimed that the trifurcation of BBMP was a part of BJP’s manifesto, but now they are ignoring. Bengaluru has a population of 1.10 crore and produces 3 to 3.5 tonne waste per day. With trifurcation, there is no harm to the city. The members of BJP are misleading public and they are doing same in the coastal district- dividing people on the basis of caste or community.

DK District-in-Charge Minister B Ramanath Rai said that Congress party has purchased nine cents of land worth three crore through the revenue department. The party would construct ’Congress Bhavana’, a three floor building within one year. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah suggested to complete work within seven to eight months. Congress does not have own office in many districts including Mysuru too and he has directed all District-in-Charge Ministers to construct an office at the earliest.
