CM visits families of Deepak, Basheer

Mangaluru, Jan 08, 2018: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Jan 7,  Sunday visited and consoled  the family members of Deepak Rao and Basheer.

 

While Deepak was murdered on January 3, Basheer succumbed to injuries he sustained during a brutak attack on him on the same day.

The chief minister arrived from Shivamogga at 10.40 am by  helicopter and inaugurated a number of development projects in Belthangady.  Later he went to Puttur by helicopter at 2.30 pm to inaugurate development works.

Siddaramaiah then flew to Moodbidre at 5 pm and inagurated a Mescom building and a skating rink which was followed by a public programme at Swaraj Maidan.

General have not missed the fact that the whirlwind inaugurations and visits are to gain public popularity in view of the coming elections.

After visiting the family members of Deepak Rao and Basheer, the chief minister inaugurated the toy train and musical fountain at Kadri Park. Siddaramaiah will proceed to Udupi this morning Jan 8, Monday.
