Speaking after inaugurating a Virat Hindu Samajotsava at Tekkatte under the joint auspices of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bhajrang Dal, he accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah  of trying to thwart Hindu organisations despite himself being a Hindu. He also took strong exception to the CM’s move of consulting Nidumamidi seer known for his Leftist ideology with regard to  a proposed religious bill, rather than consulting the Pejawar  Swamiji.

Stating that the caste system has weakened the Hindu society, the seer said no force can however suppress this religion.

Bhajrangdal leader Sharan Pumpwell who also spoke on the occasion, said baseless allegations are levelled by some people who are unwilling to tolerate  the  VHP and Bhajrangdal works of  instilling patriotism in the people. The efforts to suppress Hindu outfits in Karnataka will not meet with success, he claimed.

VHP Regional Organisational Secretary Gopalaji who delivered the key note address, said  Hinduism was unnecessarily targeted  in  the recent times  on the pretext of politics.

Ratnakar Shetty Badamane Giliyaru, an entrepreneur from Mumbai, presided over the function. Baikady Suprasad Shetty and several other Hindu leaders were present.
