CM orders CID probe into Mangaluru police firing

Mangaluru, Dec 23, 2019: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has ordered a CID investigation into the  Mangaluru police firing incident that claimed two lives last Thursday.

Police have claimed that they had to open fire when protestors turned violent and tried to attack the Bunder police station.

The Chief  Minister had visited the city on Saturday to assess the law and order situation.

He had also met the family of the two men who were killed in police firing.
