CM accuses BJP of spreading false rumours

Mangaluru, Nov 19, 2017:  Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has accused  the BJP  of  speading rumours and trying to malign the image of Udupi District in-charge Minister Pramod Madhwaraj by  claiming that he will join the BJP.

Speaking to reporters at the Mangaluru International Airport on November 19, Sunday, the Chief Minister refuted the reports that  Madhwaraj would join BJP. The CM also  hit out at MP  Nalin Kumar  who had reportedly claimed in a programme that Madhwaraj would join BJP.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister U T Khader, Udupi in-charge Minister Pramod Madhwaraj, MLAs Moidin Bava, J R Lobo, MLC Ivan D’Souza, Mayor Kavitha Sanil and several Congress leaders were present .

The Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the Koosamma Shambhu Shetty Memorial Haji Abdulla Maternity and Children’s Hospital at Udupi.
