CM Kumaraswamy, H D Devegowda visit Dharmasthala

Belthangady, Aug 14, 2018:  Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and former prime minister H D Devegowda along with their family members  visited Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala on August 13, Monday night. The first family of the JD(S) though had plans to proceed to Subrahmanya from Dharmasthala on Monday night itself, it was not possible as it was already 9 pm by the time they reached  Dharmasthala via Charmady Ghat.

 

 

 

 

 

Kumaraswamy’s wife Anitha and  mother Chennamma also were present. The Chief Minister and former PM were welcomed by D Harshendra Kumar. District JD(S) Youth wing Chief Akshith Suvarna,  District JD(S) President Mohammad Kunhi, former district chief M B Sadashiva  and MLC Bhoje Gowda were also present.

The  Chief Minister also met  Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade. MLA of Belthangady Harish Pooja met the CM and submitted a memorandum  seeking Rs 1000 crore compensation for rain related damages in the taluk.
