CCB police arrest accused wanted in several cases

Mangaluru, March 5, 2016 : CCB Police have arrested a person named Talhat who  had failed to appear before court in many cases and  was also wanted in a case of conspiring to murder a man from Faisalnagar Bajal.

The CCB team lead by Inspector Valentine D’Souza raided a place at Faisalnagar  and made the arrest. A dragon knife has also been seized from the arrested person.

It is said he was wanted in many cases of destruction of public property and assault. Though many cases are pending before court, he had always avoided appearing for the hearing in the past two year  period.

Sources said he was also wanted in the case of murder of Abdurrehman  Sanaputta of Kannur in 2011 and the murder of Kanchana Textiles Manager in Mangaluru in 2012.

The accused has been entrusted to the custody of Mangaluru Rural police for further interrogation.
