CCB cops nab drugs peddling duo near Bejai bus stand

Mangalore, April 24, 2015 : Acting on a tip off, the CCB Police of Mangaluru  arrested two ganja peddlers  near the KSRTC bus stand at Bejai on April 23 and seized 300 grams of ganja from them. Even a mobile phone which was in possession of the duo has been seized.

 

 

Those arrested are Imtiyaz Ahmed (30) of Valachil Farangipete and Mustafa (29) from Karnad, Mulki. The duo have reportedly admitted that they used to sell ganja to students and members of the general public.

One of them Imtiyaz was also wanted in a murder case earlier apart from a drug peddling case. The two have been handed over to Barke police.

CCB Inspector Valentine D’Souza and his team led the operation under the instructions of City Police Commissioner S Murugan.
