CCB cops arrest 12 in raid on gambling den at Konaje

Mangaluru, Oct 16, 2017:  CCB Police  have arrested as many as 12 persons during a raid on a gambling den at Muchilakodi, Konaje on October 14, Saturday. The raid followed a tip-off. The police seized a cash of Rs 22,485 apart from playing cards from the place.

Those arrested are:  Rohit (27), Ranjit (29), Sharat Raj (25), Jayaraj (27), Jayaraj (26), Lokesh (32), Keshava (27), Drahasadas (26), Naveen Kumar (26), Ganesh (38), Tilak (28) and Prasad (38). All of them are from Konaje area.

The case would be investigated by the Konaje police.

The raid was conducted as per the instructions of City Police Commissioner T R Suresh.
