CCB arrests Ravi Poojary aides conspiring to kill businessman

Mangalore, March 28: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) has arrested two aides of underworld don Ravi Poojary and has prevented them from murdering a Bangalore-based entrepreneur.

CCB ACP B. N. Nyamagowda informed the media that the duo was conspiring to rob and murder an entrepreneur and were carrying a nylon rope, sharp weapons, chilli powder, and plaster when the police nabbed them. The duo was acting as per the instructions of Munish Shetty, a notorious goon who is currently in the central jail
Shetty is believed to be the immediate link to Ravi Poojary, Kali Yogesh, and Nikhil Shetty, who are all absconding at present.

Lokesh Kumar (35), who has been booked on various counts at Mangalore Rural Police Station and Bantwal, has also been arrested.

Three more goons called Harish, Venu, and Yada Vasanth have escaped arrest. All of them hail from DK, says the CCB.
