Byndoor case: Shankernarayana’s alleged lover disappears

 Kundapur, oct 19, 2016: The recent case of death of two children in a suspected suicide pact of a family of four at Byndoor has taken  new twist, with it now emerging that the  wife of the head of the family and two childen had consumed poison without their knowledge. Though investigations have picked up, in another development, a young woman who was suspected to be the lover of the head of the family, has disappeared from her house.

Meanwhile, the last rites of the two children were performed in the yard in front of their house on October 18, Tuesday.

The  head of the family Shankernarayana is said to be recovering, while his wife Mahalakshmi continues to remain critical. However, Shankeranarayana has refused to answer questions from the police saying he was sick.  However, he was later seen making calls to a few persons. Even the 16 page death note left by him has given room for several questions.

Investigations have revealed that he had given Mirinda soft drink laced with poison to his wife and children.

Police have launched a search for a woman named Lakshmi alias Akshatha  suspected to be Lakshminarayana’s girl friend.

It has now been learnt that  the day the incident took place, Shankernarayana had  told his wife that he would bring Akshatha  home and had picked up a quarrel.

Further investigations are in progress.
