Byndoor : Woman sets herself ablaze; dies

Byndoor, July 17, 2019: A woman from Ambagilu in Uppunda village who had attempted  suicide by setting herself ablaze has succumbed  to burn injuries  at the hospital.

The deceased is Uma (60).  It is said Uma who was   suffering from health complications chose the extreme step out of frustration in life. On the morning of July 15 when  she was all alone at home, she had set herself on fire after pouring kerosene.

She was immediately rushed to the Manipal Hospital where she breathed her last. Byndoor Police have registered a case.
