Byndoor MLA turns down chairmanship of Forest Corporation

Kundapur, Nov 3, 2016 : Even as the state government made appointments to boards and corporations, senior Congress leader and Byndoor Legislator K Gopal Poojary has turned down the offer  of the post of Chairman of Karnataka Forest  Corporation.

 Poojary is learnt to have told that he would find it difficult to discharge his responsibilities as the Corporation Chairman when his good friend B Ramanatha Rai is the Forest Minister and is efficiently handling his post.

Gopal Poojary has already stated that he has conveyed his  decision to the KPCC Chief.

He even said he already has enough responsibilities at hand.
