Bus passengers have lucky escape when brakes fail

Mangalore, Aug 29, 2012 : The passengers of a private bus from Kateel had a lucky escape when the brakes of the bus failed at around 6:30 a.m. at Ladyhill on August 29, Wednesday.

 

 

The bus went over the divider, damaged electric poles, dashed into an Omni van, and finally dashed against the compound wall of Lady Hill School.

Reportedly, around 80 people were travelling in that bus and all of them are safe. They have expressed their thanks to the driver, who skillfully drove the bus to a safe place and brought it to a halt.
