Bus knocks down bike at Mallikatta;rider dies, pillion rider critical

Mangalore, April 20, 2014 : A bike rider lost his life while the pillion rider sustained critical injuries when the Bajaj Pulsar bike they were riding  was knocked down by a  private bus at Mallikatta  on April 20, Sunday morning.

 

 

 

The accident occurred at around 8 am when the bus  overtook the bike at a turn at Mallikatta. It is learnt, the rear end of the bus hit the bike knocking down the two riders who fell under the tyres of the bus.

One of the injured is Manoj Nayak, son of Narayana Nayak. The identity of the other injured is not known.

Both sustained critical head injuries.
