Bus driver, conductor assaulted by duo at Seethanadi

Udupi, July 02, 2019: In a shocking incident reported from Seethanadi near Agumbe on July 2, Tuesday, two persons  who came by a car, waylaid a Shivamogga-Mangaluru bus and  brutally assaulted the driver and the conductor. The assailants even  robbed Rs 20,000 from the duo. The attack has been captured in the CCTV camera inside the bus.

 

Sources revealed that the assailants attacked the bus driver and conductor alleging that the bus did not give way to their car despite the fact that Agumbe Ghat is not wide enough at many places for vehicles to overtake each other.
