Burnt remains of a housewife found in Padubidri

Padubidri, Feb 21, 2018: The charred remains of a housewife was found on Monday morning near a gutter in Avaralu Mattu near Padubidri.

Burnt.jThe deceased has been identified as Leela Poojarthi (36), a housewife who was suffering from cancer. The body was found near a gutter in the vicinity of her house. Police have registered a suspicious death case.

It is believed that the incident took place after the husband and family members were asleep. It is presumed that Leela locked the front door and then went out for some distance and set herself  on fire. She was suffering from ovarian cancer since 3 years and as a remedy the affected ovary had to be removed. However, the condition relapsed after some time.
