Burnt body of unidentified man found near Majoor railway bridge

Kaup, Feb 11, 2019: An unidentified body has been found in a burnt state near the Majoor Railway bridge in Kaup police station limits on February 10, Sunday.The age of the dead man is  estimated to be around 40-45.

 

The body was first noticed by a  nearby resident named Ganesh after his daughter alerted him  that something had caught fire near the railway track.  The face is badly burnt and  intestines were found protruding.

It is not yet sure if this is a case of murder or suicide. A piece of lungi, black spectacle,  beedi bundle and a packet of Dilkush was found nearby.

Kaup police have begun investigations and are trying to found out if anyone is missing from the locality.
