Bunting row leads to verbal duel between 2 groups in Katipalla

Mangaluru, Nov 28 2017: A dispute over buntings put up near the Bharath Cafe  at Katipalla in Suratkal led to a  heated exchange of words between two groups on November 27, Monday night.

 

The dispute arose after buntings pertaining to Miladunnabi were tied to the same pole which displayed saffron buntings in connection with the Dharma Sansad held at Udupi.

It is said the saffron buntings fell to the ground when the Miladunnabi buntings were being put up, eventually leading to the  heated exchange of words. Finally the Suratkal police who rushed to the spot pacified both the groups.
