Mangaluru, May 24, 2016: Residents of Bunder ward in the city are unhappy with the Mangaluru City Corporation for not making enough arrangements for supply of water to different areas of the ward through tankers.

Local corporator Ramiza Nasir says that though the area has ample water resources including wells and bore wells, the MCC has provided just a single pick-up vehicle with a Sintex to supply water to residents. Presently, this vehicle is in action round the clock in the ward.
But the resident s of  the ward complain that they were not getting enough water  as even tap water supplied by the MCC was not reaching the area.

The corporator says social activist Majeed has provided another vehicle for water supply. She has also requested MCC to make arrangements for more water tankers in the area.
