Builder’s suicide in city, ill health suspected

Mangaluru, May 21, 2018: A builder allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself behind his residence, in a shed at Shivabagh on Saturday May 19th.

The deceased has been identified as Sursh Bhandary (62) of Prithvi builders.

Suresh was reportedly suffering from several health-related issues over the last several years. It Is said that he took this extreme step stressed by his condition. The builder had previously escaped a shootout attempt by underworld elements on him in 2011.  Case has been registered by police att Kadri PS.
