Bride to be dies in head on crash before wedding

Bantwal, June 11, 2015 : A bride-to-be, set to tie a knot on next Sunday, was killed in an accident near Bhatkal.A girl, resident of Jamia Abad Colony in Batkal lost her life in an accident just three days before her wedding.

 

The decease has been identified as Mubeena (19), daughter of Abubakar Kalo.  Mubeena was travelling with three others who were also injured in the accident.

The accident occurred when omni car collided head on with auto rickshaw near Shifa cross Bhatkal. The omni was moving towards Bhatkal from Shrali while auto rickshaw was going towards Jamia Abad colony.

All three were members travelling in omni were seriously injured and were rushed to Bhatkal government hospital. Mubeena who was critical was shifted to Manipal, where she breathed her last on the way.

Mubeena was set to tie a knot with Abu Tahir on Sunday June 14. The driver of auto rickshaw Venkatraman and omni driver Samraj were also injured in the accident.  Soon the Bhatkal town PSI Johnson D’souza and his team arrived at the spot.

A case has been registered.
