Brahmavar : Accident claims life of bike rider ; another critical

Udupi, May 10, 2013 : A youth lost his life while another person sustained injuries  in a collision between a bike and a Mahendra pick-up vehicle  near Mabukala bridge in Brahmavar on May 9, Thursday.

The deceased youth is Jason D’Mello of Sasthan. He worked as an AC mechanic .

The pillion rider Vijay of Handady who was a friend of Jason has suffered critical injuries and has been shifted to Manipal Hospital.

 

According to eyewitnesses, both the vehicles were over speeding. Jason and Vijay were on way to Sasthan from Brahmavar while the Mahendra pick-up vehicle was proceeding to Mangalore from Kundapur.
