Boy ends life after parents turn down cell phone demand

Kundapur, Aug 04, 2018: A first PUC student hailing from Kakkunje in Kota police station limits has reportedly ended  his life  by hanging himself on August 3, Friday afternoon.

The deceased is Pratheeksh (16), a commerce student of Bidkalkatte PU College.

He was reportedly unhappy after his poor family did not pay heed to his demand for a cell phone.

Sources said he ended his life when other family members were away.
