Bollywood actor Nana Patekar flags off cleanliness rally

Mangaluru, Feb 12, 2017: Veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar flagged off the 200th cleanliness drive rally organised by the  Ramakrishna Mission as part of its Swachch Bharat Abhiyan on February 12, Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Nana Patekar said India can be a clean nation  only when each and every citizen takes up the responsibility.

He also stated that he was happy to see a large number of students taking active part in the cleanliness drive. The cleanliness rally  with the participation of Nana Patekar and a large number of students reached the Ramakrishna Mutt at Mangaladevi via Hampankatta.

Senior RSS leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat, Capt. Ganesh Karnik, MLC,  Swami Chidambarananda and others were present.

A new autorickshaw stand opposite the Mangalore University College was inaugurated by  Swami  Jithakamanandaji of Ramakrishna Mutt.
