Body of missing Hiriadka youth found in garbage dump in Pune

Hiriadka, Oct 20, 2016: Reports confirm that the dead body of a missing Hiriadka youth was found in a garbage dump yard, at Nare Bhoomkar Chowk in Pune.  The deceased person is identified as Dinesh Mahabala Shetty (35), originally from Hiriadka in Udupi district.

Police suspected that Dinesh might have been murdered since the body bore marks of injuries on the head and eyes and was later dumped in the garbage yard. Bharathi Vidyapeeth station police conducted the inquest and sent the dead body to Sasoon hospital for post mortem later it was handed over to next of kin.

 Dinesh was working as a hotel employee since last fifteen years and was staying with his brother. He was slightly mentally ill and unmarried. He was working in a canteen at Wakad, Pune six months ago before taking up a new job. He worked there for only one day before going missing.

A case has been registered at Bharathi Vidyapeeth police station and police are investigating the case.
