Body of ASI Narayan Naik retrieved after four days

Kasargod: July 22, 2015: Rescue officials have retrieved the body of ASI Naik who was swept away in flooding stream near Pallingod on Tuesday,

 

The rescue team had retrieved his bike about 500 meters away from the spot, after two days of the incident. Since it was heavily raining for last 5 days, the search operation was hampered.

On July 21, the body was recovered by the rescue team and was taken to the Kasargod goverment. hospital for autopsy.

The incident occurred on July 22, when Narayana Naik was on his way to Taravadu house and while crossing the Pallathur bridge, his bike swept away in flood and he drowned.
