Bike-truck collision claims rider’s life in Baikampady

Mangaluru, Jul 25, 2018 : In tragic incident, a rider lost life as his  bike collided with truck  on National highway 66 at Baikampady on July 25, Wednesday.

 

The deceased is identified as Hameed(70)resident of Kavoor.

Reports said that Hameed was on his way to Kulur from Suratkal. A speeding truck in bid to overtake collided with his bike, was thrown off the road. He sustained serious injuries was rushed to hospital immediately but was proclaimed dead. Truck driver Rajesh has been taken to custody.


Mangaluru North traffic police have registered the case.
