Bike of ASI Naik retrieved; search for body continues

Kasargod: July 20, 2015: The police and fire department are still searching for the body of ASI Narayana Naik, who was swept away in flooding steam near Pallingod on Saturday,

However, the bike which ASI was riding was retrieved by the expert divers about 500 mtrs away from the spot.

It may be recalled that, on Saturday Narayana Naik, The ASI of Kumbala police station was washed away in flood water while crossing the bridge at Mayyala Noojibettu.

The fire and police personnel arrived at the spot and began their search.  The search operation was hampered due to heavy rains.
