Speaking to reporters at the District Congress Office on November 9, Monday,  Poojary said the results are a lesson to all political parties and politicians who misuse power. It has also revealed that the PM should not remain silent on core issues.

Poojary also slammed the Prime Minister and said Modi who had ample time to make foreign tours did not have the time to meet the families of the farmers who committed suicide.

The BJP and the Sangh Parivar will continue to lose elections if it fails to learn from the Bihar debacle," he added.

"The BJP which rose to power in the name of Lord Ram is now behaving like a Ravana," Poojary mocked at the saffron party.

On the Yettinahole project, Poojary chose to slam  Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for deciding to go ahead with the project. While requesting  the Chief Minister to provide good administration by feeling the pulse of the people, Poojary warned that  or else the Congress  in the state may meet the same fate as that of the BJP in Bihar.

Asked whether the Congress would adopt the Bihar formula in other states too, Poojary said he had no authority to say so and it was left  to the party leadership.

On the  state government’s decision to celebrate Tipu Jayanthi and the opposition to the same, Poojary described Tipu as a patriot.

Referring to the Prashanth Poojary murder case of Moodbidri, Poojary said he was hurt by the incident and added that  his mother ought to have advised him against joining the Parivar organisation.
