Big FM to host first women’s cricket tourney in city

Mangalore, September 30, 2011: 92.7 BIG FM will organize the First Corporate Women’s Cricket Cup of Mangalore, during which four corporate women’s cricket teams will play for the Advaith Hyundai Big FM Navras Cup as part of Big FM’s Navarathri celebrations.

The cricket match will be held on Oct 2 Sunday on Urwa Cricket Grounds near Urwa Market at 8:30 a.m. Each team will comprise 9 players on field with 2 substitutes.

Mr. Seemanth Kumar Singh, the commissioner of police, and Mrs. Geetha Nayak, the deputy mayor of Mangalore City Corporation (MCC), will be the chief guests of the event.

Big FM RJs Errol Gonsalves and Varsha and the rest of the Big FM team will also be present.
