Bhoo Vaikunta Darshana at SVT on Mukkoti Dwadashi Day

Mangalore, Dec 15, 2013: Sri Venkatramana Temple at Carstreet in Mangalore dazzled with over a thousand  traditional Diyas  on December 14, Saturday when there was a ‘Bhoo Vaikunta Darshana’ at the temple at 4.30 am on account of Mukkoti Dwadashi celebrations.

            

 

 

The deity was taken in a silver palanquin near the lake where pooja was offered. Later, the Utsav procession passed through the main streets in the vicinity.

There was Mahapooja in the afternoon was followed by distribution of Prasadam to the devotees.
